IIFA 2007 Stars playing Cricket on IIFA Weekend
It was screaming fans with excitement at the IIFA foundation celebrity cricket match. The IIFA Bolly 11 team took on the IIFA Yorkshire 11, the match was action packed, coupled with its share of sporting misdemeanors.
The Bolly team consisted of captain, Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Rampal, Dino Moreo, Fardeen Khan, Aftab Shivadasani, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sohail Khan, Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Upen Patel, Arbaaz Khan, Vishal Bhardwaj and Mohammed Azharuddin.
Salman commenced proceeding with the toss up which meant Yorkshire batted first and actor Chunky Pandey hosted the commentary for the day. Among the speactators was new married couple Aishwarya-Abhishek, enjoy the bliss!
IIFA Bolly 11 led by Saif Ali Khan won the match after former Indian captain Kapil Dev hit a boundary off the last ball to score the winning runs. Batting first, the Yorkshire 11 had scored 142 in 20 overs. Bolly 11 won by 143 in 7 overs.
Proceeds of the match are to be donated to the IIFA Foundation. Stars having fun for social cause, nice combo!
